We started as a small framing company with two employees. We fit into the growing market because our focus was on rough framing, exterior siding and trim. Over the next seven years, our company grew to 15 employees. We built small track homes for a company and that was giving quite a bit of work. In 2008, the housing market collapsed and we had no work.

We were forced to lay off our entire staff because of a lack of work for about six months. We secured a few small jobs but not enough to keep work for our employees.

How We Have Grown

One day we received a phone call for a wheelchair ramp. This client really needed our help because of a stroke. My wife encouraged me to trust God's direction and help these folks despite our lack of work and income. We donated the material and labor.

After we completed the wheelchair ramp project, we received a phone call from a hardscape contractor who did work on high-end homes on Sea Island. He also requested a wheelchair ramp! The ramp he needed was at the lighthouse on St. Simons Island. After we finished this project, he recommended us to a few high-end builders who were looking for a good framing company. 

Our work multiplied as word of mouth spread. In 2011, many framing companies were no longer in business. Finding good-quality framing crews was extremely difficult.
